Mary Lyn Graves
Mary Lyn is originally from Tulsa, OK where she studied at the Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education and was a member of Tulsa Ballet II. She joined Ririe-Woodbury in 2012 after receiving a BFA in Dance/Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, she danced works by Martha Graham, Antony Tudor, George Balanchine, and Ma Cong, as well as excerpts from the classical ballet repertoire. During her two seasons with Ririe-Woodbury, Mary Lyn has performed throughout the United States in the works of Daniel Charon, Charlotte Boye-Christensen, Alwin Nikolais, Doug Varone, and Johannes Wieland, among others. As a teacher, Mary Lyn has worked with children in California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, and Utah, and has taught master classes at Colorado State University, Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Wichita State University, and Brenau University in Georgia.
