FOCUS highlights the physically challenging and emotionally powerful contemporary dance that Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company is known for. Focus will feature works by three of the modern dance world's up-and-coming cadre of elite choreographers. Experience the essence of contemporary dance!

This show will feature a Salt Lake City premier by 2002 Winter Olympics Choreographer Doug Varone, as well as a Salt Lake showing of a new dance by Charlotte Boye-Christensen. Her work, commissioned by NYU Tisch School of the Arts, will have just premiered in New York City. Topping off this performance of powerful new dances will be a restaging of Lines to Read Between by 2003 International Choreography Competition Winner, John Utans.
