the Choreographic Canvas Selected Artist
More information is coming soon.
The selected choreographer from the new Choreographic Canvas commission which the Company is launching this season. This innovative initiative designed to foster a diversity of artistic voices is a new annual initiative that provides a platform for emerging choreographers to explore new ideas and develop their artistic voice.
Our Moving Parts Family and Sensory Friendly Performances include ASL interpretation, accommodations for individuals with sensory sensitivities, and narration providing insights into the art of dance. These interactive performances are shortened and modified versions of our season shows, designed to be wiggle-friendly and to allow for audience movement and vocal reactions. Moving Parts is well-suited for individuals with various needs, including young children and their families, people with neurodivergence, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and first-time theatergoers. Our staff and dancers are trained to accommodate audience needs and responses. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the relaxed dance performance in their own unique way, free from the constraints of traditional theater etiquette.
