New York based and award-winning choreographers Dual Rivet (Chelsea Ainsworth and Jessica Smith) and Kayla Farrish bring their visceral work to the Black Box stage. Savor the dances of powerhouse talent from the heart of NYC.

Leslie Kraus. Dance theatre in unconventional spaces.

ACT II

January 27 - 30, 2027, 7:30 pm

Come see the final installment of Leslie Kraus's dance theatre trilogy, immersed throughout the galleries of the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (UMOCA). A dance reflecting deep artistic work with the RW dancers, as well as an epic institutional collaboration.

Outrun The Bear. Baye and Asa.

ACT III

April 22 - 24, 2027, 7:30 pm

Outrun The Bear (Megan Doheny and Ilya Nikurov) bring their nationally renowned work Palace to Salt Lake City. Accompanying a world premiere work by Bessie Awardees, Baye and Asa, this show promises a magnetic and unforgettable evening.

Synthesis Young Artist Showcase

Synthesis returns for its fourth installment. Join nearly 500 students for three days of our annual high school choreographic dance festival. The company will perform each evening, alongside young dancers from across the Wasatch Front.

Big Kids Show (Astrid Lindgren’s RONJA THE ROBBER’S DAUGHTER)

Experience the magic and wonder of Ririe-Woodbury’s performances for students. With masterful choreography and sound score by Satu Hummasti and Daniel Clifton, we invite you to leap into wonder, magic, and mayhem with the artists of Ririe-Woodbury.
