• Ririe-Woodbury's Teacher Workshop is designed for teachers who are working in the university, professional, and/or secondary school settings. Shared experiences in technique, improvisation, choreography, and body conditioning will provide participants the opportunity for artistic growth and rejuvenation. The participants will address the Utah State Core Curriculum requirements, trends in the field and issues of dance training and dance making in order to increase and elevate the skills and practices of teaching in the field.

    Come together with colleagues at this winter semester exciting day of physical practices, approaches to technique, composition, rhythmic analysis, beginning dancers' body alignment and condition, and networking! This five-hour professional development opportunity provides excellent inspiration as well as five re-licensure points for Utah dance educators.

    Space is limited for this FREE workshop for public and charter school teachers, supported by the Utah State Board of Education. $5.00 (4 sessions) for private sector teachers.
